| Troy Corbin will be the first to tell you that singing, to him is like breathing air to the rest of us. Why you ask? Because its all he knows. All of Troy’s brothers, sisters, and most family members are singers all with an amazing gift and ability that simply amazes. Singer/Songwriter Troy Corbin has been a staple in the Soul/R&B Circuit of Philadelphia & South Jersey for a while now. Troy starting singing at the age of 5 and knew from then on that this would be his path in life. Like so many others, He honed his craft in church growing up singing and praising the lord. Troy’s faith is a big part of his life and thanks god for every blessing that comes his way. Troy started taking writing seriously in 2000 and after a chance “Situation” he got the opportunity to make an impression. One day Troy’s daughter called a number on the back of one of Musiq SoulChild's Albums, They returned the phone call and invited Troy to the Studio. The rest is history!! Since then Troy has sung background, written songs for and toured with artist the likes of Musiq SoulChild, Jon B, Jonell, Selena Johnson, Christopher Williams, Bilal and Joe. When asked what specific genre he prefers to be labeled, Troy’s answer is simple. He says “ I consider myself R&B/HIP-HOP/CLASSIC/SOUL. Recently Troy has teamed up with his Brother and Label mates Ryan Corbin and Flash signing to Independent Power House Betta Muzik Group.
